Barclays Money Skills Project

Greater Manchester Youth Network has a new exciting peer education project available for young people aged 16 – 25 from Greater Manchester, who either are NEET or have been NEET. The project will provide the young people with 16 hours training to become money skills ‘Champions’. The ‘Champions’ will then volunteer by passing on the knowledge they have learnt to other young people. There are lots of benefits for young people getting involved in this project – they will gain lots of new skills, have an opportunity to get involved in an exciting peer education project and will even gain financial rewards. If you are working with a group of young people who may be interested in this or you would like to find out more, please get in touch with Fiona at fiona.shirley@gmyn.co.uk or 0161 2743377.
