Make it Happen
Make it Happen is a project funded by the Transition Fund to involve young people in personal development and experience volunteering.
The projects follows a four session model:
- Get involved session – Exploring volunteering, the benefits & purposes, setting goals for the project.
- Volunteering Session – Taking place within the district
- Volunteering Session – Taking place outside of the district
- Evaluation Session – Evaluation of project, presenting certificates, workplace skills and development.
Building on the PAYP Project, we are offering something similar with more emphasis on skills and personal development.
The project offers a range of volunteer opportunities for young people to be involved in including volunteer days at Wythenshawe Park and Agricultural Rural Centre, Stockport.
We are currently working with
- Willow Park Housing Trust
- Parkway Green Housing Trust
- YMCA training
We are set to work with other organisations across the north and east of the city.
