 Brief job history

I have just completed a BA in Development Studies and Politics at The University of Manchester.  I’ve volunteered in the Third Sector before alongside working in hospitality, but this is my first job in this sector – so far it beats serving food!

 

How you ended up at GMYN

I’ve always wanted to work in the Not-For-Profit sector so when an internship became available through the Manchester University Graduate Internship Programme, I applied immediately and have worked here since the beginning of June 2011.  

What you do at GMYN

I am the Admin and Finance Officer. I am a jack of all trades and a master of none – something I hope this internship will change!  

 

Hobbies/interests etc.

I love travelling both in the UK and abroad. I also enjoy cycling (despite the rain in Manchester) and scuba diving. 

 

Any interesting or bizarre Facts about yourself

I’m a qualified Dive Master and bizarrely was born unable to burp!
