Helen Fairweather
Brief job history
Previous to GMYN, I worked for another not-for-profit company, Toucan Europe. I started there as a volunteer in 2000 and went on to do a variety of roles including volunteer support, IT training and project management.
How you ended up at GMYN
Toucan Europe was closing down in 2007 so myself and other colleagues looked at the option of taking over the company but ended up deciding to set up a new company instead, GMYN!
What you do at GMYN
I’ve just returned from maternity leave and will be working two days a week on the development of the company.
Hobbies/interests etc.
My nine month old son takes up most of my time now! When I do get a spare minute I like to catch up on my family history research or read a good book. I also try to get to a few football matches to support my team, Sunderland.
Any interesting or bizarre facts about yourself
I once appeared live in the top story on the BBC News at Six.
