Who wants to be an Entrepreneur?
GMYN is running a new project to help show young people aged between 13 –19 that they have the skills and ability to come up with ideas to create and run their own business.
It will not aim to turn every young person into the next Dragon or Richard Branson. However it aims to help them to develop life and business skills, which will help them throughout their lives. The programme is inclusive and aims to enable all participants to develop through fun and creative sessions. It will cater for participants who are at different levels of learning and who have different learning styles
Who is the programme is for ?
The programme is for 13 -19 year olds living in the following areas.
• Charlestown
• Higher Blackley, Crumpsall, Cheetham Hill, Harpurhey, Moston
• Whalley Range
• City Centre
• Moss Side, Hulme
How the programme will be delivered ?
The programme will consist of eight sessions and each session will last between one and one and half hours
What will participants gain from the programme?
All participants will come away from the course feeling like they have developed and further advanced their communication, budgeting, marketing, leadership, networking, and organisational skills. We also hope to accredit some of the participant with V Impact Awards, V Thank you Awards, and ASDAN qualifications.
